SilverStone FARA R1 computer cases are designed for modern gaming or home PC with support for ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX factor motherboards, along with a well-thought-out component cooling system.

FEATURES OF THE DESIGN
The metal mesh on the front panel facilitates unimpeded airflow and component cooling.
The case features a classic design with a control panel on the front side. The surface of the structure is carefully polished, without any sharp edges, making it convenient for both industrial and DIY assembly.
The side panel is made of tempered glass in the SST-FAR1B-G-V2/SST-FAR1W-G-V2 models and metal in the SST-FAR1B-V2 case.
EFFICIENT COMPONENT AIRFLOW
One 120 mm fan on the back panel is included. Air intake is facilitated through the metal mesh on the front panel. The air flow is enough to cool the system components.
Overall, the cases have designated mounting locations for:
- 120 mm fans: 3 pcs. on the front panel, 2 pcs. on the upper panel, and 1 pc. on the back panel;
- 140 mm fans: 2 pcs. on the front panel, 2 pcs. on the upper panel.
The cases are designed for air cooling for processors up to 161 mm in height, and liquid cooling systems with three-section (with a maximum radiator thickness of up to 59 mm), two-, one-section configurations on the front panel, one-, two-section, including and with a 280 mm radiator on the upper panel and one-section on the back panel. A liquid cooling system with a 240 mm radiator can be installed on the upper panel provided that the maximum height of the motherboard components doesn’t exceed 38 mm with a maximum radiator width of 120 mm.
DESIGN FEATURES
The cases can accommodate two 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives in various combinations, with a standard ATX power supply of up to 200 mm in length. They feature 7+2 expansion slots. The design allows for the installation of a graphics card up to 340 mm in length in both horizontal and vertical orientations. The cases have spacious interiors and are compatible with modern components. Neat and convenient cable management can be achieved thanks to well-thought-out cable management features.
ADDITIONALLY
Two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port, integrated with one audio jack, provide great flexibility for connecting various accessories. Removable upper and bottom filters make dust cleaning easy.
